@cstross@wandering.shop It was a very witty sitcom that ran for 11 seasons, with Kelsey Grammar in the lead role, playing a pretentious radio psychiatrist. Grammar is a pretty awful human being, but a great comic actor.
I tend to assume everyone has heard of Frasier. It was one of the most popular comedy shows on American TV. It was a spinoff of Cheers, where Frasier and his wife Lilith were a minor recurring characters.
